designed & coordinated logo application in slate for  balconies.

One of the marketing bi-lines that was developed, introduced the idea of:

Window to the World”. Following with that theme, the lobby mural, became a rear-illuminated graphic interpretation of a window view of the main mountain-scape range. The wall was a treated concrete finish that emulated a rock face, with the embedded logo symbol. Neon was chosen over fluorescents as the light source for maintenance benefits and a more realistic illumination quality.

Implementation:

There were a total of 13 images,  custom-developed for the hotel, for room prints, murals, ads, promotions, invitations. menus and other marketing materials. The images were created by Al Rosenberg, representing the rockscapes in the immediate area. The photographs were artistically modified utilizing an exclusive,  unique laser technology  and then printed as limited edition signed serigraphs.

As the hotel was called Rimrock, it was determined that  a mountain theme should be considered for the brand and artwork. The logo was inspired by the prominent  mountain (Mt. Rundle), viewed from the hotel.

One of the key launch promotions was a gift set (both framed & unframed) that  was delivered to selected travel agents, corporate clients and prospects, travel industry magazine publishers / writers.

It included 1 to 4 limited edition, signed prints, a brochure, an invitation and a special offer to visit the newly renovated hotel. For the Japanese market, the brochure and invitation was printed in Japanese.
